We had the honor of being visited by the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Rwanda. She was accompanied by the Vice Mayor in charge of social affairs and officials from Rusizi District and BUGARAMA Sector. We had a meeting with the Ambassador, where we explained the history of Cotcori Ltd and its operations.
The meeting went well, and the Ambassador appreciated our work. She expressed interest in taking our Basmati rice to supermarkets in Kigali, and we are hopeful that it will be available there soon. She also promised to speak with PSF so that our Basmati rice can be exported to Zimbabwe, as they currently import it from India and Pakistan.
After the meeting, we took them to see our rice sorting process. Their visit ended at 1 pm, and they proceeded to MRM and CIMERWA.
